About Operation Shadow Detail

Founded by veterans, for veterans

Our Mission

Operation Shadow Detail uses photography as a therapeutic tool to help veterans process trauma, rebuild confidence, and find new purpose. Through nature immersion and creative expression, we provide a path forward for those who have served.

Our Story

Founded by veterans who discovered the healing power of photography, Operation Shadow Detail was born from a simple truth: behind the camera lens, veterans find a new perspective on life. What started as informal gatherings has grown into a comprehensive program serving veterans nationwide.
